Acceptable use policy

Last updated 12 October 2026

Pitch2Fund is built for careful, one-to-one work: researching a short list of investors and writing to each of them personally. This policy is part of our terms of service and applies to every account, free or paid.

How email works here — and the limits we enforce

  • Pitch2Fund drafts an email; you read it, edit it and decide whether to send it. Nothing is sent without your click on that one email.
  • Every email goes from your own connected mailbox, under your own name, one recipient at a time. There are no campaigns, no sequences, no automatic follow-ups and no sending from our servers on your behalf.
  • An account can send at most 30 emails a day, on every plan. Paying does not raise it.
  • Investor contact details are released one profile at a time, under daily limits.

Outreach rules

When you write to anyone you found through Pitch2Fund, you agree to:

  • Write only to investors you chose individually because your company plausibly fits what they back.
  • Say truthfully who you are and what your company does, with a working reply address.
  • Stop writing to anyone who asks you to, and not ask again from another address.
  • Follow the anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to you and to the recipient — for example the GDPR and ePrivacy rules in the EU, PECR in the UK, CAN-SPAM in the United States and CASL in Canada.

What you may not do

  • Send bulk, mass or unsolicited commercial email, or use the product as part of one — including by copying addresses out to another sending tool.
  • Scrape, bulk-download, resell or redistribute the investor directory or the startup index, or use them to build a competing database or a mailing list.
  • Circumvent rate limits, sending limits, access gates or the masking on public pages, or share an account to multiply them.
  • Use Pitch2Fund to offer or sell securities to the public, to run a crowdfunding campaign, or to solicit investment from anyone who is not a professional investor. The product is for contacting professional investment firms; any offer you make is yours, under the securities laws that apply to you.
  • Misrepresent your company, its traction or its team, impersonate anyone, or send content that is deceptive, harassing or unlawful.
  • Charge founders fees for introductions or access to investors through a Pitch2Fund account, or register a fund account on a domain you do not work at.
  • Upload material you have no right to upload, malware, or anyone's personal data beyond what the work needs.

What happens if these rules are broken

We may warn you, disconnect your mailbox, lower your limits, or suspend or close the account — without notice where the abuse is ongoing or harms the people in the directory.

If you received an email through Pitch2Fund that broke these rules, forward it to hello@pitch2.fund. We read every report. See also our terms of service and privacy notice.
